2018

Started Offering Phosphating Plant in Surface Engineering Solutions. Special fastening solution plant audited & approved by leading global wind turbine manufacturer for High Tensile studs Foundation anchor studs. Gallock wedge Lock washers launched after successful testing and validation by IMA, Germany. Supplies started to Indian Railways.

Springs Plant audited by Global Automotive Tier 1 companies like Hitachi, Continental, Schaeffler, Wabco, ZF-TRW, Knorr Bremse, Including VDA 6.3 Best Supplier award for Quality Delivery Performance from leading Automotive Transmission manufacturer Endurance Technologies for Strip springs

New Plant commissioned for coil springs. Introduced Pipe Hangers and Support assemblies for power equipments. Launch of Finishing and Cleaning equipments in the US market focusing on Aerospace and defence sectors. Award from ABB, Germany for disc springs as one of their top 10 suppliers

Kirit Gala

Managing Director

Kirit is a mechanical engineer and an MBA from Mumbai University. A true leader who led the company on to a fast track growth by globalization. After achieving market leadership status for Gala in three niche market products in India, he successfully led the business in other Asian and European Markets.

As a strong believer in value system backed with scientific management principles, he has developed a highly dedicated management team at Gala. Partnering with Private Equity, implementing aggressive growth plans and creating a win-win situation for all stake holders and partners is his strength.

Balkishan Jalan

Executive Director

A Chartered Accountant, with an experience of more than fifteen years in various areas of Finance, IT, Operations and Strategy. Mr Jalan is one of the early professionals to join Gala in 1998.

He has successfully handled operations at Gala for more than 5 years as the Chief Operating Officer for Compressor Valves division and acted as Chief Finance Officer for 3 years, before becoming Executive Director of the current businesses. His business acumen and entrepreneurship combined with management skills of a true professional make him an outstanding contributor to the gala groups success and adherence to core values.

Satish is a mechanical engineer and has been since 1993. He is a global player, who has successfully developed Asian and European markets and also contributed significantly in market and products development strategies. People recognize him as a true team player and an effective leader. He was instrumental in integrating sales and business development functions of Compressor valve business with Hoerbiger, an European Multinational.

Rajendra Deshpande

Starting career at Gala as Marketing Manager for India market, Rajendra, a mechanical engineer, subsequently handled the responsibilities of heading global Sales and Marketing developing key insight into techno-commercial requirements of global OEMs, heading Gala China operations, heading Engineering and Products Development for Springs division, managing the project implementation of Coil and Spiral Springs and now Chief Operating Officer for Coil and Spiral Springs business unit.

As a part of his business responsibility, Rajendra has extensively travelled across the globe. His hobbies include creating awareness about latest happenings on technology front, stress management and keeping physically and mentally fit through jogging, yoga, pranayama and meditation.

Anand Kaundanya

Anand is a Mechanical Engineer with post graduate qualification in Human resource management. Anand started his career in Godrej and Boyce and brings with him over 16 years of experience in various functions of machine tool business and capital goods industry. He has done advanced management courses conducted by S P Jain institute of management and also undergone various training programs in the areas of leadership and self improvement. He believes in open and transparent communication at all levels and knowledge sharing. His hobbies are reading books on Self improvement, Leadership and General Management. He enjoys playing chess and table tennis.

Gala is one stop solution provider for surface finishing needs of deburring, finishing, washing and cleaning. We have more than 25 years experience of building standard and customised machines.

We offer complete solution of machines and processing media and compounds for surface finishing and parts cleaning needs. We have capability to build large finishing and cleaning equipments for challenging needs of defence, atomic and aerospace sectors.

Our finishing machines are capable of achieving Ra value of 0.05 microns and precision parts cleaning machines of achieving Millipore value of less than 1mg.
